Addition facts from add 1 to add 12

Choose an addition family below. Each page lists the twelve facts, a counting-on row, a tip that fits that family, the three facts children miss most, a game and a quick quiz.

A good order for most children is add 1, 2 and 10 first, then 5, 3 and 4, then 9 and the doubles, and finally 6, 7, 8, 11 and 12. Once the facts feel easy, the matching subtraction pages show the same numbers working in the other direction.
